Submitted by Christof ---------------------------------------------------------- Noted by Mark- I guess I play it about as simplified as you can get. Just pick out some notes over a Am (with a left pinky down on the 2nd string 3rd fret) F, Em, and one note on the open low E string. Noted by Wrecks- Well, I've been playing it for a few decades. I play Am, F major, Am, Em and then back to Am. Use Capo III Am Hey mama, when you leave Am don't leave a thing behind F Am I don't want nothin' E Am I can't use nothin' Take care into the hall and if you see my friends tell them I'm fine not using nothin' Almost burned out my eyes threw my ears down to the floor I didn't see nothin' I didn't hear nothin' I stood there like a block a stone knowin' all I had to know and nothin' more man, that's nothin' As brothers our troubles are locked in each others arms and you better pray they never find you Your back ain't strong enough for burdens doublefold they'd crush you down down into nothin' Being born is going blind and buying down a thousand times to echoes strung on pure temptation Sorrow and solitude these are the precious things and the words that are worth rememberin' Hey mama, when you leave don't leave a thing behind I don't want nothin' I can't use nothin' If anyone's got an idea for the picking, please send me an E-mail. Thanks, Christof - stu32714@mail.uni-kiel.de ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Tabbed by: O/stein B. jazzfudge@start.no ----------------------------------------------------------------- Tuning: Standard (EADGBe) Capo on third fret (chords relative to capo) b = bend string (maybe perform a pull-off from Am7 to Am as well) I couldn't quite figure out the bassnotes throughout the song, and neither what he does with the F (a bit difficult with the hammer-ons). Please email me with suggestions.
