Swiss Needlecast Risk Model 2008 - lat long maps

Description of attributes: vector type:area converted from raster layer SNC_V4 (see below) after
rounding expected needle retention (to yrs x 10) at a 4s (ca. 120m) resolution;
split into WA coast (5.8mb zip file), N. OR coast (2.8mb), C. OR coast (3.4mb), and S. OR coast (7.9mb)

FULL EXTENT 5sec reso. ADDED 5/7/08

snc_p4_5sec_all.shp, snc_p4_5sec_all.shx, snc_p4_5sec_all.dbf

beginning with ASPECT coded as: 2.00=SW 1.00=NE,SE or neutral and 0=NE,
the following rules were applied:

if elev>700 then asp36=0.2+ASPECT/7
else if elev>350 then asp36=0.6+ASPECT/3
else if elev<200 then asp36=3.2+ASPECT/3
else asp36=1.6+ASPECT/3

these rules were derived through correlation analysis.
the following GRASS r.mapcalc statement was used for the
calculation:
