The following pesticide information is provided by the
Pesticide Notification Network, a system operated
by
Washington State University's Pesticide
Information Center, for the Washington State Commission on
Pesticide
Registration.
Newly revised State RUP lists are now available. The
lists, sorted by product name, EPA number,
registrant name, or ingredient, have been
posted on the PNN Web page. This year the state RUP lists
have been expanded to include adjuvants
with aquatic use directions. Also, the confusion over
pesticides for use in dry versus wet
canals has been resolved. Because of new coding in the PICOL
Label Database, only products that are
labeled for use in wet canals appear on this list as potential
aquatic use products. As always, please
refer to the information in the footnotes to see why a product
is included on the list. There are many
products on the list that are only considered State RUPs in
certain circumstances. In the case of
products with labeling that allows for aquatic uses, unless the
product qualifies as a State RUP for
another reason, it is only a State RUP when it is used for an
aquatic application. Some products are
also included on the lists that only qualify as State RUPs if
they are sold in eastern Washington in
quantities larger than one gallon. Again, read the
footnotes!
